Set in a working class suburb of London, this play centres around a group of people who dabble into the psychic world of séance. It is Marge's turn to host the group meeting and usually her husband (a devout skeptic) goes down to his club for a few ales. However this week the club is closed for renovations and Madame Zelda, the eccentric medium and her strange group arrive to find Charlie at home. He agrees for the séance to be held as long as they don't frighten his ferrets. Needless to say Charlie becomes involved in hilarious circumstances.
